Cuba disco Santiago de Cuba 2011
Este sábado desde las ocho y hasta las once de la mañana, el municipio de Guamá estará interviniendo en el "El Son más Largo del Mundo", que como cada año, es realizado en el marco del festival Cuba disco, y que en esta ocasión tendrá como sede la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba, cuna del son tradicional cubano.
En el poblado de Chivirico cabecera de este montañoso municipio, estará comenzando la participación guamense en el "Son más Largo del Mundo" después de la entrega por parte de los soneros del municipio de Santiago de Cuba, exactamente a las ocho de la mañana y se extenderá durante tres horas hasta las once de la mañana.
A partir de las once de la mañana, nuestro municipio de Guamá le entregará al municipio de Mella, donde los músicos locales continuarán interpretando acordes que caracterizan al Son Cubano.
El ranchón "El Caribeño" a orillas del mar Caribe, que bordea el sur del municipio de Guamá, será el escenario donde todas las agrupaciones soneras del patio se unirán y harán sonar cuerdas, metales y percusión hasta completar las tres horas de música puramente cubana. De esta forma Guamá también estará incluido en el "Son más Largo del Mundo"

In Chivirico's settlement head-board of this mountainous municipality, it will begin the participation guamense in "The Longer Son of the World" after the delivery on the part of the soneros of the municipality of Santiago de Cuba, exactly at eight o'clock in the morning and it will extend for three hours until eleven o'clock in the morning.
From eleven o'clock in the morning, our Guamá's municipality will deliver him to the municipality of Mella, where the local musicians will continue interpreting chords that they characterize to the Cuban Son.
The ranchón "The Caribbean one" on the banks of the Caribbean sea, which borders on the south of Guamá's municipality, will be the scene where all the groups soneros of the court will join and do ropes, metals and percussion sound up to completing three hours of purely Cuban music.
